Summer is the perfect time for kids to immerse themselves deeply in art, design and construction. It’s a less structured season and a great opportunity to embrace their creativity. We’ve found an incredible variety camps offering everything from photography, drawing and painting to welding. Pretty impressive!

Rayko Summer Photography Camps
Weeklong camps for 8-10 year olds with a passion for taking pictures! Kids will have the opportunity to explore their own personal vision and create a portfolio of original photographs. They will investigate a variety of photographic processes, techniques and styles.

Art School of SF Bay
A great start to your child’s artistic career! During these half or full-day sessions children go through all stages of creative process, from material collection to final touches. Little artists develop eye-hand coordination, study colors, rhythm, proportions, create beautiful ornaments and turn everyday life objects into masterpieces of decorative art.

Richmond District Neighborhood Center
One of the most popular camps in the area, the 2016 RDNC Elementary Summer Camp is already filling up quickly! In this weekly camp, students in grade specific groups will discover their inner hero as they explore Multicultural Arts, the Environment, and Farm-to-Table cooking through group challenges and off-site adventures. This summer camp is filling up fast!
Sessions are offered for each grade level ranging from ages 6 – 11. Full-day camps run weekly from Jun 6-Jul 15, 2016. Financial aid is available for those who apply + qualify.
Pixie Hall, Americana Camp
Join Pixie Hall as they gear up for the 4th of July with a fun filled week celebrating the culture and history that makes our country so great! Children will get the chance to explore the story of our Independence as they cook, create, and celebrate in All-American form. We will discuss what it means to be an American and learn about “Americana” music, art, and cuisine. So come on down to our studio to get a little messy, have fun, and let the creative fireworks begin!
